Arts

All can encapsulate some form of the arts. From page design, to scripting blabberise pictures and creating cartoons.

Maths

Many great programs are already implemented in schools to assist in maths and understanding math concepts.
Google earth. (and similar programs)- mapping
using wordle as a graphic organiser (with key) is a different way to show findings.
(these are just ideas and are also only a snippet of different concepts I thought of)

KLA - English

Blogs
Web pages
Wiki
The list goes on, a good way to show how we write differently depending on the medium, audience and context.

KLA implications

Have been considering the ability to include some form of ICT into each KLA. have yet to come up with a subject that you could NOT use technology in some way , shape or form.

Thanks Gemma

A big thanks to Gemma for talking whilst i was playing with this function. Gemma was discussing her assignment so in a unprofessional way it shows a way this could be used to present an assignment or view a discussion. It is also an easy enough medium for younger children to use compared to a voki or more complex design. This could be used to create a talking building/geographical  site or animal that me be the topic of the assignment.

Yay

So know i know how to post my deadly little underdog cartoon that I created in Goanimate. This is a great tool for students by not only allowing them a different medium to show their findings but a more enjoyable way to express their ideas. I have already thought of about 10 different uses for this and a couple of other animate programs that i have looked at this morning. (thinking, thinking, thinking)

WELL I'LL BE !!!

It has only taken me four weeks to work out how to do this!!!
Fancy it just being as easy as clicking on the right button (duh). I have no doubt my 6 year old could have told me this.
